Thomas D. Lambros is “of FEDERAL Counsel” to Ford, Gold, Kovoor & Simon, Ltd., and focuses his practice on alternative dispute resolution. During his 34 years as a state and federal judge, Mr. Lambros achieved national recognition as a pioneer in the alternative dispute resolution movement. As a United States District Judge, he created the Summary Jury Trial in 1980. As Chief Judge of the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, he led the Court in the development of the nation’s most comprehensive ADR program in its role as a Demonstration District under the Civil Justice Reform Act of 1990. Having now made a career shift from the realm of public judging to private judging, Mr. Lambros is the founder and chairman of FedNet and The Thomas D. Lambros Dispute Management Center, offering a wide array of dispute management and resolution services. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Alternative Dispute Resolution. For his creative and innovated contributions to the improvement of the administration of justice, by act of the United States Congress in 1995, the Federal Courthouse in Youngstown, Ohio was named The Thomas D. Lambros Federal Building and United States Courthouse in his honor.

Raymond J. Tisone is Of Counsel to Ford, Gold, Kovoor and Simon, L.P.A. He is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, having earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees there. In 1984, he established the firm of Tisone and Associates, Co., L.P.A. in Warren, Ohio, where he practiced in the areas of employment discrimination, nursing home negligence, and workers’ compensation. In 2005, he closed that practice and moved to Anzellotti, Sperling, Pazol and Small, Co., L.P.A., where he concentrated on nursing and hospital negligence cases, and ERISA issues and retired in 2015. Currently, he assists Ford, Gold, Kovoor and Simon, L.P.A. in its probate practice. He has extensive training and experience in mediation, especially in complex cases involving employment disputes, nursing, hospital, and wrongful death claims, ERISA, and construction disputes. He is a current member of the U.S. District Court, Northern Division, Mediation Panel. He has served on the Howland Zoning Commission and was elected to the Howland Board of Education, where he served several terms as president.

Mr. Gold has practiced law for nearly 50 years. He has vast experience in many areas of law. While he considers himself a generalist in the business/corporate law arena, he is a certified specialist in the area of labor and employment law- one of only 125 in the state of Ohio. While most of his work in that area of law is on the employer’s side, he has successfully represented many employees-including company executives. In addition, he has a great deal of experience in business litigation transactional work. Because business planning leads to estate planning, he is active in that field as well.
His clients have included many hospitals, medical practices and other medical entities, steel mills, general industrial firms and retail establishments.
He has litigated in many local, state, and federal courts including The United States Court of Appeals in several cases. He has also represented many clients before various adminstrative tribunals, such as the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Ohio Rights Commission and the Internal Revenue Service.
As further indicated below, he is very involved in community activities and views community involvement as a lawyer’s duty. Ned is married to Debbie and in between them,they have three children, one of whom lives in Trumbull County and two of whom live in Colorado including son Gregory who is a Colorado lawyer. He is particularly proud of his work with The Boy Scouts of America as a 65+ year veteran. As a youth, he earned the Eagle Scout Award among others. As an adult, he has been awarded the Silver Antelope Award, Silver Beaver Award, Silver Sage Award (for his outstanding service at the Philmont Scout Ranch and as the founder of the Philmont Staff Association) and the Oustanding Eagle Scout Award. He continues to serve at the national, regional, local and unit levels of scouting.
